    • The Rebrand

      In cooperation with the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC), Sierra-Olympic changed its name to Sierra-Olympia. This change aligned with the Ted Stevens US Olympic and Paralympic Act, which grants exclusive use of the word “Olympic” to the USOC. I created the new brand and style guide around a selected logo. It was applied to all marketing materials and internal documents across different departments.

    • The Website

      Switching domains because of the rebrand required careful planning. We built a custom WordPress theme, new content was given careful consideration for aligning keywords and the company's message. When the newly branded domain and website for Sierra-Olympia were launched, traffic had surpassed the performance of their previous website within three months.

    • Social Media and Partnerships

      I directed the YouTube channel, managed the social media accounts, and maintained or established new partnerships. YouTube views surpassed half a million, and followers more than tripled in the first three years. LinkedIn followers doubled in two years.

      • UCLA.edu

        UCLA.edu is the gateway to all university websites. Its purpose is to advance the public mission, values, and priorities of UCLA. This domain sets the standard for all subdomains and is the most visited URL on campus. I led the team that built UCLA.edu from the ground up to support the universities current brand. It was the first major domain on campus to be built using the Web Components library.

      • Admissions.UCLA.edu

        UCLA is the most applied to school in the United States. Each year, it receives a record number of applications from prospective students. At the time of launch, it was the first website on campus to receive a perfect score from the Disabilities and Computing Program. The admissions website exceeded the required WCAG AA standard and achieved AAA status without compromising the high quality design.

        UCLA's design system was created so faculty, staff, and students could quickly design and develop digital applications, without wasting time making decisions about spacing, color, font choice, or starting from scratch. I led the team that built version one of webcomponents.ucla.edu for distribution across campus.

      My work has been a balance of design, technology and storytelling in the digital medium. It has included coding high-traffic websites for large institutions, designing components or prototyping in Figma, branding companies, using multiple programs in Adobe Creative Suite, and more.
